On my way now up to stay with my cousin tonight and off to the airport in the morning have this really bad feeling i have forgotton something really important, but i suppose nothing is that inportant to worry about too much.Saying goodbye to everyone has been harder than i thought. i was in the Army and thought it would be alot easier than it has been.

It is only a couple of days now until i set off packed my bike up yesterday was really pleased with myself that i managed to fit it back in the box. I sat down to survey my good wirk and saw to my dismay i had left the front wheel out the box is this an omen i hope not. im just off now to try and fit the bike in the back of my car to get to the airport. Next message should hopefully be from America.

Planning the trip

All the planning seems to of been done now for the adventure. I have said goodbye to my little boy which was very hard. But i do believe this trip will allow me to be a better dad for him. Gonna try and return my bike back into the box it came in which should be fun ready for the plane. I would love to meet some people during my trip so if anyone would like to hook up for some cycling or just a coffee let me know
